Community Livelihood Support

Implemented with support from Tudor Trust UK, GLS foundation for Future development and Bread for the World.

The project objective is to support community livelihood improvement through access to food and income
security. The project targets youth and community members for empowerment, linkages and collaborative
support with the county government line Ministries.

The project involves capacity building for community members within established Community Livelihood
Improvement Groups (CLIGs) for improved food security, income generation and crime prevention.

The project is being implemented under the Food Security and Agro-ecology thematic area 24 community groups
in 8 counties in Kenya, including Kakuma Refugee Camp and Host community.

The project continues to contribute to improved food production and self employment among the youth and small
holder farmers.
