This project of the Nzambani youth originated from the realization that numerous youth in Nzambani were unemployed with no sustainable source of income this led them to venture into illegal activities hence leading to the deuteriation of growth and development in the community.
With this realization RODI in partnership with the community managed to gather around 30 youths who jointly agreed on a particular training they would benefit from as a youth group, and they were to develop an estimate budget to cover this training. The youth selected poultry farming and so far, RODIs project officers have been training them on how to undertake poultry farming
The training ranges form how to build poultry shelters, diseases that affect poultry and ways to make it a sustainable business. These skills are being shared in order to ensure the business is sustainable and they can do it on their own.
Through such initiatives RODI is wide spreading the initiative of Resource Mobilization, this will assist on not only solving immediate challenges but also empower the youth to take control of the future and venture into sustainable businesses
