Restorative Prisoner Rehabilitation and Re-Integration

Implemented since 1994 with support from Tudor Trust UK, GLS foundation for Future development and Bread for the World.

The project aims at supporting Offender rehabilitation and Reintegration with a primary focus of equipping
prisoners with vocational and life skills to help enhance their self-esteem, hope in life, self-support
and to appease and endear ex-prisoners to the community besides enabling them to contribute
towards community and national development.

The project is being implemented under the social and legal justice thematic area within 28 prisons in 8 counties in
Kenya.
The project continues to contribute to a reduction in the re-offending rates among ex-offenders, improved livelihood and
community development.
