During the year 2016, 1818 prisoners and 182 prison staff were trained in various aspects related to sustainable agriculture and appropriate technology. Trained inmates and officers continue to play a key role in passing on the skills and knowledge acquired to their peers as peer educators. A total of 113 inmates and 32 Prison staff remained active in peer education. This has been a great contribution to sustainability of RODI rehabilitation work in prisons.
